Travel has been temporarily stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but in the midst of change, we understand that the desire to travel remains. As we face the uncertain ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic, we want to assure you that we have the best interests of our staff, guests, partners and communities at heart. During this pause in tourism, we have been focusing on a post-Covid travel reality by implementing extensive new Health and Safety protocols.Our comprehensive Health and Safety guidelines will cover all measures in place across our business to ensure that our guests can travel with confidence. Your well-being is at the forefront of our minds from when you arrive in Victoria Falls throughout your time with us.Covid-19ResponseandResourcesHygiene and sanitation have always been a top priority for us, and the existing high standards have been bolstered in light of the pandemic. We understand that once travel restrictions are lifted, there will be concern around global travel and have responded proactively, leading with compassion and diligence

The Golden Rules of Prevention

We have conducted a thorough review of all existing health and safety processes to develop and validate additional protocols. Our ‘Golden Rules of Prevention’, as listed below, will apply across the board of the LaBantu Travel facilities. To address all possible concerns in relation to health and safety, additional measures for specific products are further detailed under the relevant sections, and will be adapted to best suit the specific features of each activity and/or facility.

Regular Disinfecting In addition to our existing rigorous cleaning guidelines, we will enhance and record deep cleaning and disinfection frequency of all surface areas, paying special attention to high touch items

Greeting Staff will be instructed to avoid hand shaking or other physical greetings when meeting guests

Hand Sanitation Alcohol based hand sanitizing stations will be available at all entrances to lodges, restaurants, boats, vehicles and activity facilities

We aim to be digital where possible
.This includes online indemnity forms, guest information forms, itineraries and vouchers. I pads and tablets will be wiped down with disinfectant after each use.

Social Distancing Measures will be put in place to ensure comfortable social distancing on vehicles, boats, lodges and other facilities

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Guided by regulations laid out at national level, guests may be required to wear PPE such as masks when in spaces that are closer than two metres from each other. Appropriate PPE will be worn by all employees based on their role and responsibilities
